What to do and see in Minneapolis & Saint Paul, Minnesota

The Land of Sky Blue Waters
Twin Cities Attractions

Hiawatha & Minnehaha
With Minnesota's many lakes, rivers and beautiful forests, Mother Nature remains the number one attraction in the Twin Cities and throughout the state. There are over 12,000 lakes in Minnesota, with over 900 in the Metro area alone! There are also two waterfalls in Minneapolis: St. Anthony Falls, the only true fall on the entire length of the Mississippi; and Minnehaha Falls, which inspired Longfellow's famed poem The Song of Hiawatha.
Another popular attraction is the famed Mall of America. It's huge! It has so many stores, that if you spent just one minute in each, it would still take you over eight hours to visit all of them! In addition to MOA's many stores, restaurants and movie theaters, you can also have a great time at at the amusement park located in the center court area as well as Underwater World where you walk through an underwater glass tunnel so that you have fish swimming above and alongside of you
